Moez Kamoun was born in 1962 in Tunis. After studying cinema in France ESCA, he started working as an assistant director with many well-known Tunisian directors, notably Nouri Bouzid and Ferid Boughedir. He has also worked alongside many international directors such as Abderrahman Sisako, Flora Gomez and notably Anthony Minguella for The English Patient and George Lucas for the two Star Wars films - "The Phantom Menace" and "Attack Of The Clones".
