Lassad grew up in one of the marginalized villages in the northwest of Tunisia . He loved poetry and theater, excelled in Science and literature. His father provided him with what was necessary to succeed in his studies, and his desire was to be a mathematics professor. He obtained a baccalaureate degree and entered the Faculty of Science in Tunisia, than he migrated to the film profession and joined a production company where he specialized in editing and audiovisual arts. He worked on many television and cinema projects and met with many directors in the editing studios, which made it easier for him to enter the world of cinema. It was shown to the public in many festivals. He is also writing his first feature film. EL KONTRA is his first feature film, who won Jury Prize at the Douz Documentary Festival in 2013, he was also production director on the film “the absence” of Fatma Riahi 2017, awarded at the JCC 2019… Since 2019 He decided to produce his films on his own with the help of his wife. He produced the film Candles of Hope and Yahia the survivor who was selected for the PriMed 2021 In 2022 he produced tow documentary film with Aljaizeera documentary , Sef kingdom and sleeeping village, his last work was The owl of Minerva, Award Winner in Madras Independent Film Festival.
